These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of OTDRCheck, a professional OTDR test report analysis service operated by Dogwood Group LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By submitting a request or making payment for our service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
OTDRCheck reviews contractor-submitted OTDR test report PDF files and returns a pass/fail screening summary based on fiber loss thresholds you provide or that we agree upon before work begins. Our service is a professional screening tool intended to assist project owners in identifying potential issues in contractor deliverables. It is not a substitute for licensed engineering review, legal certification, or formal acceptance testing performed by a certified laboratory.
2. Free Sample
We offer one (1) free sample analysis of up to 50 fibers per customer. The free sample is limited to one per customer, company, or email domain. We reserve the right to decline free sample requests at our discretion.
3. Pricing and Payment
Paid analysis is priced based on fiber count:
- Up to 500 fibers: $99
- 501–2,500 fibers: $275
- 2,501–10,000+ fibers: $595 and up (quoted per project)
Payment is due before analysis begins. We accept credit card (via Stripe) and ACH bank transfer. Work begins upon confirmed receipt of payment. Invoices are issued through Dogwood Group LLC.
4. Turnaround Time
We target delivery of results within 48 hours of confirmed payment receipt. Turnaround times are estimates and may vary based on file volume, format complexity, or project queue. We will notify you promptly if a delay is anticipated.
5. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing complete, legible PDF files in a supported OTDR report format.
- You are responsible for specifying or confirming the acceptance thresholds to be applied before work begins. If no thresholds are provided, we will apply reasonable industry-standard defaults and note assumptions in our report.
- You represent that you have the right to submit the files you provide and that doing so does not violate any agreement or confidentiality obligation.
6. Scope of Service and Limitations
OTDRCheck provides screening-level analysis based on the data contained in the PDF reports you submit. Our results reflect the information as presented in those documents. We:
- Do not perform field testing or on-site inspections
- Do not certify compliance with any standard, code, or regulatory requirement
- Do not review raw SOR files or native instrument data — PDF reports only
- Do not provide legal opinions or serve as an expert witness
- Are not responsible for errors, omissions, or irregularities in the source files submitted to us
Our reports are intended as a professional screening aid. Final acceptance decisions remain the responsibility of the project owner and any licensed engineers of record.
7. Refund Policy
If we are unable to process your files due to an unsupported format or technical issue on our end, we will issue a full refund. We do not issue refunds based on disagreement with the pass/fail results of a completed analysis. If you have a question or concern about a result, contact us at contact@otdrcheck.com and we will review it with you.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all project files and customer information as confidential. We do not share your files or results with third parties except as required to deliver the service (e.g., email transmission). We do not use your project data for marketing, case studies, or publication without your explicit written consent.
9. Intellectual Property
The analysis reports we deliver to you are your property. We retain ownership of our software, parsing tools, methodologies, and any proprietary processes used to produce the analysis.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dogwood Group LLC's liability for any claim arising from the use of OTDRCheck is limited to the amount you paid for the specific analysis in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, project delays, or contractor disputes arising from reliance on our results.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
OTDRCheck is provided "as is." We make no warranty that our analysis will be error-free or that it will meet any specific compliance standard. We warrant only that we will perform the analysis in good faith using reasonable professional care.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Grady County, Oklahoma.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
